Well, yes and no…  Yes, they can see things, but no, because you have to invite them. So, for example, if you’re a nonprofit organization, the development team needs to be able to see projects about fundraisers but shouldn’t see projects related to client data. As the manager, you can assign people to those projects. Everyone on that team project can see the project itself and all the tasks (and files inside!). But the individuals can create projects that are totally private. The individuals not in the project can’t even see that there are other projects.

Now if you want to make it so that someone can only see the task itself, you can assign that person as a follower. Followers only get emails about the task, which means neither access to the project nor editing access to the task. It’s also a great way to loop managers back in!
